Why It Matters
This programme gives young women a chance to learn real farming skills. Many people think farming is only for men, but this school is showing that women can do it too. With these skills, they can find jobs or start their own small businesses.
The training includes practical lessons like planting, watering, and checking soil. Learners also learn how to sell the vegetables they grow. They get certificates that are recognised by the agricultural industry. This helps them become more employable while still in school.
Agriculture is an important sector in South Africa. There are many job opportunities in farming, research, and food production. By training young women now, this programme is helping to build a stronger and more equal workforce for the future.
