Job purpose | To implement, monitor, maintain and support backup and recovery systems in order to ensure the availability, integrity and recoverability of organisational data |

Appointment requirements | Grade 12 The following relevant technical knowledge will be an added advantage: Experience with backup solutions such as Veeam Backup and Replication, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault or Microsoft Azure Backup; knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration; familiarity with virtualisation platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V At least one to two years’ experience in ICT, supporting enterprise backup and recovery environments Computer literacy Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost |
