Marketing Assistant - (Aeroton)

Job Summary

Join our Marketing team based at our head office in Aeroton - the link between our stock and every product we show online.

Description of role

This is not a pure desk job, and not a design job. Some days you help move heavy machines between the warehouse, the studio and an event venue. Other days you spend an hour in a supplier manual looking for one missing power rating. Both matter: a product not booked back in is a stock loss, and a wrong specification online is a promise we must keep.

Key Responsibilities

• Move products between warehouse, studio, branches and events - and know where everything is
• Find and check specs: dimensions, weight, power, model numbers, certifications
• Send the right manual / certificate / datasheet for the exact model
• Chase suppliers for missing documents until closed
• Help with product shoots and trade shows (some after-hours)
• You will need to arrange, track and return the products used for photos, videos and events
• Find and check the technical facts that go onto our website
• Support the team with shoots and exhibitions.

Requirements

Must Have:

• Matric
• 1-3 years’ experience
• Code B licence required
• Added bonus: Syspro or stock system, online listing / product data, SDS / certificates, experience at a tools / hardware / machinery / auto supplier.
• You can read a technical manual. You need not be an engineer, but kW, bar and IP ratings should interest you, not worry you.
• You are happy on your feet, write clear emails, and are at home in Excel and stock systems.
