Operations Coordinator

Job Summary

A reputable freight forwarding and international moving company specialising in air, sea and road freight, customs clearance, and international relocations is seeking an experienced Import & Export Operations Coordinator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate import and export shipments, including air and sea freight.
• Manage shipping documentation, customs entries and tariffing.
• Use CargoWise One to update shipment files and track cargo.
• Liaise with clients, international agents and transport providers.
• Monitor shipments, resolve delays and ensure accurate documentation.
• Assist with commercial and hazardous cargo requirements.

Requirements

• Matric certificate essential.
• Minimum 3 years' freight forwarding or international moving experience.
• At least 2 years' practical CargoWise One experience.
• Experience handling imports, exports, air and sea freight.
• Knowledge of customs entries, tariffing and shipping documentation.
• Experience with CargoWise One, ShipShape, EasyClear or similar systems.
• Commercial cargo experience; hazardous cargo exposure is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable home-office setup.
