IT TECHNICIAN

Location: Kempton Park, Johannesburg Salary: R16,840.00 Gross

JOB PURPOSE

To provide IT technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with desktop and network support, and help maintain the company's IT infrastructure and systems.

Requirements

• Matric certificate.
• A+ and N+ certifications.
• MCSA (Microsoft Certification) – advantageous.
• Experience working with and setting up servers, desktops and laptops.
• Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Domain Controllers (DC).
• Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
• Basic software development knowledge, including HTML, PHP and full-stack development.
• Basic network troubleshooting and desktop support experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with and manipulate data.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest technology and innovations.
• Good command of English.
• Strong initiative and self-discipline.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Passion, energy, a strong desire to get the job done, and the potential to grow.
• Project management experience – advantageous.
• Ability to build and maintain good customer relationships.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours standby.
• Availability to work shifts.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Own vehicle is essential.
