Requirements

To promote the Woolworths Beauty range by delivering expert beauty advice, ensuring the right products are available at the right time, and providing exceptional customer service that drives sales and exceeds customer expectations.

• Minimum Grade 12
• Qualification and/or experience in Cosmetology or any other Beauty related qualification.
• Minimum 1yr experience in Beauty Sales environment
• Knowledge of Beauty brands
• Passion for retail, selling, and customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to persuade and influence customers through product knowledge
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Proactive, results-driven, and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Flexible and available to work various shifts and across the store
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute events, ensuring successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Experience & Beauty Expertise
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
• Provide specialist beauty advice and recommend suitable products based on customer needs
• Demonstrate correct product application and usage
• Conduct personalised consultations to enhance the customer experience
• Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business
• Attract and recruit new customers by identifying opportunities, building relationships, and promoting our products and services.

Sales Performance

• Achieve Beauty sales targets in line with agreed budgets
• Actively drive sales through product demonstrations and recommendations
• Promote new products, beauty trends, and in-store promotions
• Support beauty events, campaigns, and promotional activities to drive sales

Brand Representation

• Represent the Woolworths brand with professionalism and product expertise
• Maintain excellent personal grooming and appropriate use of cosmetics
• Stay informed about new product launches, beauty trends, and brand knowledge

Stock & Merchandising

• Ensure product availability through effective stock management
• Maintain clean, organised, and visually appealing displays
• Ensure testers are hygienic, available, and presented according to Woolworths standards
• Follow merchandising guidelines and ensure products are correctly displayed

Operations & Administration

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to operational manuals and shopkeeping disciplines
• Control and manage administration including IBTs, RTMs, and price discrepancy reports
• Report stock shortages, tester issues, or operational concerns to management
• Administer and maintain all supplier documentation and compliance requirements.
• Oversee and control stock rotation processes in line with FIFO standards

Shrinkage & Compliance

• Minimise shrinkage, tester waste, and stock losses
• Follow hygiene, safety, and brand guidelines at all times
• Maintain accurate inventory records through the effective execution of daily stock counts.

Team Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with store teams to achieve department and store objectives
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when required
