The role

Data is at the heart of the group. Our Analytics team partners with every part of the business, from collections and onboarding to marketing and operations, turning raw data into decisions. This is a hands-on BI role with real room to shape what gets built, how it's used and the change it drives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that drive day-to-day decisions across the group
• Write efficient SQL against our data warehouse for ad-hoc questions and recurring reporting
• Work closely with Data Engineering and Data Science to get the most from our data platform
• Turn vague business questions into clear analysis, and clear analysis into practical recommendations
• Find opportunities to improve KPI performance in the business areas you support
• (Senior) Own the reporting roadmap for a business area and mentor other analysts

Requirements

• 3- 5 years' experience as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, BI Developer, SQL Developer, Insights Analyst or similar
• Strong SQL: you write, optimise and debug complex queries independently
• Solid hands-on Power BI experience (Tableau or Looker also considered)
• A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Informatics, Information Systems, Operations Research or a similar numerate field
• Sharp analytical thinking, attention to detail and comfort with ambiguity
• Strong written and verbal communication, working both independently and in a team

Bonus points for

• Microsoft Fabric experience
• DAX and Power BI data modelling beyond drag-and-drop visuals
• Experience in financial services, credit, lending or another regulated environment
