Electrical/Mechanical BIM Modeller | Revit/CAD Operator - Consulting Industry

Job Summary

RPO Recruitment’s client, an established electrical and mechanical consulting engineering firm in Johannesburg is seeking a skilled Electrical / Mechanical BIM Modeller or Revit / CAD Designer to join its team.

The successful applicant will assist with developing accurate engineering models and technical drawings for building services projects, working closely with engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated and high-quality design deliverables.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification in draughting, engineering design, BIM modelling or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering draughting or BIM modelling, preferably within a consulting engineering environment.
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, and AutoCAD
• Experience producing engineering drawings and 3D models for building services projects.
• An understanding of engineering drawings, design principles and construction documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical information accurately.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Remuneration & Benefits

Salary: R240K – R300K CTC per annum
