Minimum Requirements

Key Functions:

Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed and adhered to.
Workplace needs to be neat and tidy before, during and after work process.
Be able to set the laser cutter according to the data specification document.
Be able to conduct a complete changeover of the machine.
Ensure that daily minimum targets are met.
Ensure that the data collection documents are recorded accurately.
Adherence to the daily production schedule.
Ensure that correct plates are identified and loaded onto the machine when required
Ensure that correct gas is loaded.
Ensure that gas pressure is achieved.
Able to load/select programs.
Operating of the laser and offloading of brackets after laser cutting.
Ensure that all parts are offloaded and ensure that no parts are mixed.
Ensure that all parts are identified.
Products need to be taken to the various destinations using a trolley.
Product will require grinding at certain time which has to be done in a controlled manner.
Ensure that the weekly maintenance of the lasers.
Product is then to be QC checked in accordance with Quality standards set out.
Ensure the correct use of tools and consumables.
Minimise wastages, reject and scrap.
Effective time management when conducting duties.
Rotation of duties will be required between laser cutting/press bending/grinding and sorting of brackets.
